Fishing isn’t something we do.
It’s who we are.

Our boys grew up with rods in their hands and water on their boots. All summer long, every day, all they want to do is get outside and fish. They were raised watching Chasing Monsters, visiting fish hatcheries, learning how ecosystems work, and understanding that nature isn’t something you conquer-it’s something you respect.

Fishing is in our blood. It’s in our DNA.

They learned early what fishing teaches best: patience on slow days, focus when it matters, and respect for the work it takes to earn a bite.

Through their love of fishing, we started making our own lures. Not because it was trendy, but because that’s what anglers do when store-bought isn’t enough. We don’t buy baits-we build them. We test them. We fish them. We refine them. If a lure doesn’t earn its place in the box, it doesn’t stay.

The name Snazzy Bazzy came from one of our kids years ago. Whenever he saw colors he loved-bright, bold, or just right-he’d call them “snazzy bazzy.” The name stuck. It captured exactly what these lures were: colorful, creative, a little fun, and memorable.

These lures weren’t made to sit on a shelf. They were made to be fished hard. Over time, they’ve caught hundreds of fish in real conditions-on tough days, slow days, and the days when a big fish finally commits. You have to earn the catch these days. And we believe your gear should earn it too.

As a family, we’ve been through hell and back. We faced cancer head-on and we beat it together. That experience didn’t soften us. It sharpened us. It reinforced what matters: time outside, time together, and doing things that mean something. Fishing wasn’t an escape-it was part of how we stayed strong.

Some of our favorite moments haven’t even been our own catches. It’s been watching our kids’ friends come over-glued to the water, mesmerized by the process, holding their breath as a line tightens for the first time. Learning patience when nothing bites. Feeling the surge when something finally does.

That’s the heart of Snazzy Bazzy Baits.

We believe fishing is life. There’s beauty in nature, clarity on the water, and pride in making something yourself. Snazzy Bazzy is about earning the catch-at the bench and on the water. It’s about building lures that work, respecting the fish, and passing the craft on to the next generation.
